Product Development
 My product development experience includes the design and development of career resource publications and desktop and web software applications, including career information delivery systems. SkillsMatch, for example,
was an interactive software program I designed to assist individuals
with their skills assessment, career exploration, and job search
activities. It was developed in association with the California
Employment Development I developed the first comprehensive,
regional training directory in California so that students and job seekers alike
could see and compare their postsecondary education and training options. From this experience,
I played a key role in the design of the Enhanced State Training
Inventory for California. I developed the Career Pathways Handbook as a first-of-its-kind resource that combined the best elements of occupational resource and career exploration content with "real people" and career pathways content. CareerDNA is a new online, interactive career discovery and
assessment tool based on the 30-year practice of Dr. Brian Schwartz, a
psychologist and leading career development professional. I not only
played a major role in the design of the CareerDNA tool, but I was
responsible for the content development of the occupational taxonomy
and all related career material, including the utilization of O*NET
